I’m Akshay — a visual storyteller driven by curiosity, culture, and the raw beauty of the world around me. My journey began in Kannur, Kerala, where I first picked up a camera in 2017. What started as a creative escape soon became a passion for capturing moments that feel real, honest, and deeply human. Over time, that passion evolved into a professional pursuit blending photography, videography, and storytelling. Today, I’m based in Nunavut, Canada — a place that has profoundly shaped both my perspective and my work. Living in the Arctic has taught me resilience, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for nature and community. Through my lens, I aim to document not just landscapes, but the stories, emotions, and cultures that define them. My work is inspired by travel, everyday life, and the powerful simplicity of human connection. I’m especially drawn to documentary-style storytelling and short films that carry meaning and leave a lasting impact.
